The Gryf Gospodarczy [Business Griffin] is a regional Pomeranian award presented annually since 2000 by the Pomeranian Council of Business, an advisory body to the Marshal of the Pomeranian Province, bringing together representatives of regional business communities.
100 companies enrolled for the 20th edition of the competition, out of which 33 candidates for the Main Prize were selected. This year, 9 additional categories were specified: Innovation Leader, Export Leader, Social Responsibility Leader, Pomorski Start-up, Vocational Education Leader, Business-Friendly Commune, Media Griffin, Youth Entrepreneurship Leader, Investment Leader.
Sescom was mentioned in the Innovation Leader category for medium and large enterprises. This award recognises companies that introduce innovative solutions, services and products to the market, operate in an unconventional and innovative manner, implement research and development projects in the areas of Pomeranian Smart Specialisations and actively cooperate with research institutions and start-ups.
The competition gala was held on 20 September in the Baltic Opera House in Gdańsk. Apart from the diploma, Sławomir Halbryt, President of Sescom, was distinguished with the medal of the Pomorski Gryf Gospodarczy [Pomeranian Business Griffin].
Sescom has been awarded the title of Innovation Leader for the first time. We are aware that we owe this award to our projects based on active cooperation with start-ups from all over the world and research which paves the way to the use of hydrogen as a fuel. We believe that the development of these projects will contribute to even stronger development of our company and will bring benefits to all our customers.
