In May, we celebrated the grand opening of our new training room at the Sescom Academy. Here, we offer not only ongoing training for our operational staff but also industry-specific training organized directly within the company. This setup ensures our team stays current and continues to develop professionally.
These training sessions are not limited to our internal employees but are also open to our partners. This approach guarantees enhanced efficiency and professionalism in our collaborations and helps prevent critical issues before they arise.
“The roots of the Sescom Academy go back about eight years. At that time, our technical department conducted training in a modest, rented space in another part of the city. Initially, this worked very well, but over the years, traveling became time-consuming, and the space became too small for our growing team. Additionally, our clients’ needs and requirements evolved—thus, the Sescom Academy was born!” says Sławomir Tkaczyk, Head of the Technical Department.
In line with the Wise Futurist 2030 Strategy, which aims to strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term relationships, we decided to further develop the Sescom Academy. Our focus now is on regular training cycles for our staff, as well as enhancing the quality of our services.
This includes not only a new training room but also consultations and audits conducted by our experts for our clients.

Sescom Academy Program
The mission of the Sescom Academy is to continually enhance the technical competencies—knowledge, skills, and attitudes—of Sescom Group employees and partners. The 2024 program includes a series of in-person training sessions, currently conducted in Polish, divided into two main thematic blocks: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and FM (Facility Management).
HVAC:
- Basics of HVAC installations and devices
- Advanced Air Conditioning
- Advanced Ventilation
- Advanced Heating
- F-Gas Regulations and CRO System Knowledge
FM:
- General Construction Industry (Equipment)
- Carpentry
- Electrical Installations
- Plumbing
Additionally, the Sescom Academy also offers the possibility to organize training tailored specifically to the needs of our clients and service partners.
Professional Training Room
In the age of digitalization and the “simplification” of many training programs through the internet, we see a special need for hands-on, practical training sessions. Only this way can you test and expand your knowledge in a tangible, interactive manner. The entire technical department was actively involved in the design and setup of the necessary equipment, providing a professional learning environment.
“We opted for traditional training methods to give participants the chance to interact with the devices and systems they deal with daily in conversations with clients or service partners. This need was signaled to us by our colleagues. Additionally, participants find it much easier to assimilate practically tested knowledge than through slides or an online presentation. We want to conduct training as effectively as possible and also give participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge,” says Adriana Dampc, Training and Technical Development Coordinator.
“We equipped the room with a wide range of spare parts, a split air conditioning system, an air curtain, and a small ventilation unit. Some aspects are still pending connection, but it’s just a matter of time.”
First Training Session for Clients
The Sescom Academy is intended to serve not only our employees but also our business partners. The first training for our clients was conducted with the Facility Management team of DM Drogeriemarkt.
The training program focused specifically on HVAC systems and was tailored to the specific needs of the client. The session covered various types of air conditioning systems, their operation, and basic components. We also shared best practices for maintenance and problem diagnosis.
The meeting not only provided valuable experience exchange with our client but also helped us better understand the DM Drogeriemarkt team, with whom we are in constant contact. This is an important step in building a long-term client relationship.
“We were impressed by the professionalism and quality of the information provided, as well as the excellent conditions offered by the modern training room at the Sescom Academy. This well-prepared training environment greatly facilitated effective information absorption and valuable experience exchange.
We would also like to thank Sescom for the successful collaboration in facility management. The knowledge gained during the training has helped us better understand our mutual needs and challenges, thereby strengthening our collaboration. We see great potential in future projects and trust that they will be executed with the same professionalism as the training,” says the DM Drogeriemarkt Team.
Future Plans for the Sescom Academy
In the next half-year, we will focus on developing the Sescom Academy further, particularly by improving and expanding our training offerings.
“We soon plan to prepare a station with an internal heat pump and then build a mini BMS system. Concurrently, we are working on creating an interactive educational board to expand our knowledge of the electrical industry. In the future, we would like to discuss topics related to heating, plumbing installations, and general construction themes,” reports Adriana Dampc.
We also plan to offer training in additional languages, starting with English.
A new dimension in technical education. As our company evolves, our employees are experts in their fields. After years of gaining experience, it’s time to share it. Interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and close collaboration with clients are now easier. Welcome to the Sescom Academy!
